About Me.
My approach to architecture developed at the intersection of interior architecture and building systems. Holding a Master of Architecture (AIA Medal recipient), a B.S. in Interior Design, and a LEED Green Associate credential, I focus on designing unified, highly adaptable environments. I believe a building should function seamlessly from the inside out, where every technical detail, structural line, and material choice directly serves the human experience within.
My path into architecture grew directly out of my work in interior design. While reviewing architectural sets, I frequently noticed disconnects between the exterior envelope and the interior experience, like window placements that looked balanced on a facade but offered zero spatial or environmental benefit inside. I realized I wanted to be responsible for the entire building, bridging the large scale structure with human experience so every threshold feels unified, intentional, and comfortable throughout the user's journey.
I view design through a lens that balances technical logic with creative adaptability. To me, the most sustainable choice is also the most logical one: utilizing what is already there, eliminating job-site waste, and designing spaces that adapt to changing needs over time rather than being discarded. Every line drawn in a set impacts something else, and I thrive on the technical rigor of bringing those details together to create functional, meaningful environments.
Whether establishing BIM/Revit standards, compiling municipal permit sets, or detailing custom millwork and tile layouts, I am committed to creating built environments that make practical sense, respect their resources, and enhance the everyday lives of the people who inhabit them.
