Mammoth Lakes Condo Renovations

This project transformed two four-bedroom mountain condos into optimized short-term rentals. Acting as lead designer, I utilized Rhino to document existing conditions, model proposed layouts, and draft custom millwork construction details.

For Unit 42, I executed a major layout overhaul to eliminate underutilized space and resolve tight entry circulation. By reallocating space from an oversized bedroom walk-in closet, I transformed a single awkward bath and hallway laundry into two full, private bathrooms with integrated laundry space. The first bedroom had a large amount of space and was redesigned as a built-in bunk room. Framing the bunk beds allowed us to relocate the front entry closet from under the stairs, creating an open foyer with dedicated boot-seating for winter guests. For Unit 30, design work focused on cohesive material finishes, a recently updated kitchen, and planned custom bunk room enhancements. I conducted initial site measurements and collaborated continuously with the general contractor to resolve ongoing field conditions.
