During my internship at ORA, I bridged schematic design with municipal permit production while driving digital and sustainable workflows. I led the office transition from AutoCAD to BIM by developing a central Revit project template—establishing standard sheet layouts, view templates, and title blocks—and integrating CAD drawings, SketchUp massing, and manufacturer window orders into unified 3D models. I compiled and coordinated complete LADBS plan check permit packages for residential and fire rebuild projects, executing redlines across code analysis, site, demo, RCPs, building sections, Title 24 reports, and CalGreen assembly details. To advance the firm's sustainable practice, I cataloged the material library into an interactive database using a tri-color scale (Green/Amber/Red) to rate embodied carbon, supply chains, and environmental performance. Additionally, I supported the discounted Fire Rebuild Initiative by authoring client onboarding decks, 3-tier FF&E templates, 3D Rhino site terrain models, and GIS workflow tutorials for internal firm use.
