Hello,
a bit about me:
I graduated with Distinction in May 2022 from Indiana University, with a BS in Interior Design along with a minor in Sustainability. I am now furthering my education in a masters program at California Polytechnic Pomona in the field Architecture. With an estimated completion date of May 2026. I have excelled among my peers in using software programs like AutoCAD and Revit. I took every opportunity to go above and beyond the demands of my course work.
I have a passion for interior and sustainable design. I have learned so much about the interior design profession and how the spaces we use effect our everyday lives. It is very important to have a space that makes you feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to be in. It is also important to find a balance between the interior and exterior of a building and its impact and relationship to its surrounding environment.
I wanted to continue my education in the design field and decided on the Masters of Architecture because both have great influence on each other. In my work experience with interiors, I began to notice errors in the architectural work that we were reviewing. This was the main factor in wanting to continue schooling. Why not be responsible for the entire building we design, both interior and exterior.
