This design focuses on the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma’s strong relation to water and nature. The tribe values nature which will be reflected by natural forms in the café space. The design of this building will also focus on movability, allowing the tribe to maneuver the space to fit their specific needs. The amount of daylight available inside the building played a large role in determining the layout and functions of the space. A daylight study was conducted with the use of a small 3D model.

First floor includes includes the entrance, café, indoor seating, outdoor seating, fireplace, storage, a traditional (hands on) studio, toilet rooms, the office, mechanical closet, a digital studio, and workroom. The second floor is where the majority of the studios are located, both traditional and digital. The Terrazzo floor uses two colors to aid in wayfinding and represent water, which is important to the tribe.
